Angela is a graduate of Rowan-Cabarrus Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice Technology and a minor focus on Psychology. After years of working in Corrections and Security, Angie finally had enough and peaced out from babysitting other adults. In 2019 Angie founded Crescent Moon Soaps and by 2020 a beautiful, bouncing baby storefront was born! 

Angie is the owner and HBIC at Crescent Moon Soaps. She mans the front and interacts with all of our amazing customers, handles all of the accounting and payroll, is the most knowledgeable crystal extraodinaire on this side of the Mississippi, and is the fastest bath bomb maker in the Wild, Wild West. She also carries the extreme weight of being the mother of the greatest soapmaker and our beloved Employee of the Month, Lauren. 

Because Angie is a workaholic, she is the face you will almost always see smiling when you come into the store! Literally, a workaholic. She is in the store all but 6-7 hours a week of open hours. She truly puts 100% of her heart and soul into CMS and fully stands behind our products! Lauren is a graduate from Appalachian State University. She majored in Elementary Education and minored in Special Education. In 2020, Covid hit the school systems hard and Lauren traded books and Expo markers for lye and soap molds. 

Lauren is currently wearing many hats at Crescent Moon Soaps. She is our lead soapmaker, executer of all of the boujee cold process soaps, expert label designer, and she has currently taken on the task of revamping our website and handling e-commerce listings. She is also the self-proclaimed Employee of the Month, every month. Regardless of who works the most hours or who is excelling with customers, Lauren will always be EOTM in her own eyes. 

Lauren brings her creative talents into her cold process soap designs, Facebook/ customer competitions and contests, tiktok soap making videos, and creating new products. If you have any ideas for a cold process soap, a new specialty box, or would just like to come by and watch us make soap - reach out to Lauren. She friendly-ish and will be glad to help you or collab with you on ideas! 

Her famous words are "so hear me out..." when she has a crazy idea and she's always willing to hear out your crazy ideas, as well!

The grandkids/kids - so many of them. These little soap goblins are often spotted around the store helping run the family business - or helping make a mess, it depends on the day. The big one, Emma, will gladly show you around the store and tell you about all of our amazing new products. Your 8th grader need a math tutor... you need help filing taxes? The little boy is your man. The littlest, she bites. BEWARE. We are not liable for any injuries sustained from her. 

Seriously though, these are the future faces of Crescent Moon Soaps, and that scares us! HA!
